Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install, repair and maintain all plant equipment and supporting plant infrastructure as needed
Knowledge of vaccuum packaging (multi vacs), conveyors, forklifts and power equipment
Knowledge of working with a Freon facility
Ensure the facility exceeds government food safety standards and passes audits
Ensure timely and accurate execution of work order requestes
Coordinate projects with outside contractors
Follow all USDA, GMP, HACCP, EPA and OSHA regulations and safety standards
Maintain electronic logs with the ARB and Ecompliance
Ability to maintain and repair HVAC, compressed air, electrical and plumbing (work with contractors)
Other duties as assigned
Required
Qualifications:
5
years of experience in manufacturing (food industry preferred)
5
years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with production machinery
5
years experience managing projects for conceptualization to completion
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed
Valid CA drivers license with clean DMV record
