Field Service Engineer
BioGenex is looking for a field service engineer to provide technical support for our molecular pathology instruments that provide complete walk-away automation for cell and tissue staining. This is a field position that involves extensive travel to customer sites throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
Installations at customer's sites
Customer training
Repair and troubleshooting of hardware
Routine preventative maintenance
Prepare written reports and documentation, including daily activity report and inventory tracking
Also supports manufacturing activities
Qualifications
Associates degree from a technical institution and a minimum of three years of practical experience
CBET strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to perform hands-on maintenance, installation and selected repairs on analytical instruments
Ability to solve problems related to product availability - typically system/solution focused
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MS Office Suite user - especially Word and Excel
Strong customer relationship skills
Team player
Innovative thinker
Willingness to travel up to 4 days a week.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
