Our strategic marketing roles are first-cabin and first-tier all the way. We're looking for a proven strategic marketing professional with a demonstrated, defined progression in their marketing career, and a record of excellence managing primarily upstream marketing functions and delivering results. Proven VOC and KOL development skills are essential.
You will be responsible for generating and executing the strategic vision for a cutting edge, market share medical technology leader, with current share north of 55% and growing. Estimates are that only 25% of the market has been fully tapped so far, so there is enormous upside potential for this product.
You will participate and lead as a key contributor to the new product development planning process. Driving awareness, clinical differentiation, value proposition, KOL development are the critical success components of this role. 75% of this role will be focused on strategic, upstream marketing.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have at least 7 to 10 years business experience in the medical device or life sciences industry. Business experience should include medical device or pharma marketing and/or engineering, and we're willing to promote up for the right candidate. The core of your background should be in upstream marketing management or product management. Previous experience in both upstream and downstream marketing will be considered.
That means you must have delivered tangible results in a new product development, market development, or product management capacity by successfully bringing new products to market. You should have experience segmenting, positioning, and developing value propositions to create new products to end-user global customers.
Any candidate with strong classical market development skills who has successfully marketed products to hospital healthcare professionals will be considered.
A dynamic MBA graduate from one of the nation's top business schools with proven, strategic, big six consulting experience could also land this opportunity. Solid leadership potential as well as business maturity will be necessary to succeed in this role.
You should have experience with voice of the customer (VOC), key opinion leader (KOL) advocacy, upstream participation in the product development process, support of new launch initiatives, and development and execution of marketing programs and initiatives globally.
