Responsibilities:
The Senior IT Analyst must demonstrate an understanding of R&D/Sales/Marketing/Labs and related business areas with an understanding of business partner needs and manage business partner satisfaction relative to deliverables. S/he will work proactively with the business and user community to identify and recommend best practice solutions and actively collaborate with IT organization to provide solutions that meet business objectives.
The Senior IT Analyst will educate, influence and negotiate to achieve business strategy and deliver results. S/he will design, develop and deliver project solutions to specified requirements on schedule and within budget following appropriate IT methodologies. S/he will lead assignments to build and maintain solutions of medium to high complexity following IT methodologies and provide guidance to consultants.
The Senior IT Analyst will lead analysis, design, and implementation and maintenance activities and provide application support on servers as needed. S/he will drive social media, mobile and web solutions for our business partners.

Qualifications
Education/Training:
The Senior IT Analyst must possess a BA / BS in Computer Science or Business Administration and have at least three years systems analysis experience. S/he must possessBusiness or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
The Senior IT Analyst must have understanding of system applications, Systems lifecycle development utilizing SDLC methodologies and knowledge of key R&D, Sales, Marketing, or lab business processes.
Desirable:
Ideally, the Senior IT Analyst will have experience in Sales, Regulatory/Clinical applications, marketing and social media applications and with Solidworks, PDM Works, social media, web, or mobile applications.
Attributes/Characteristics:
The Senior IT Analyst must have strong leadership, planning and organizational skills. S/he must possess strong analytical and customer interaction skills, interpersonal and communications (verbal and written) skills and be a solid team player and team leader. S/he must possess strong project management skills and technical skills.
This position is located in Fremont, CA and requires minimal travel.
