Director, System-Level IP Programs (Flexible location)

Siemens EDA is looking for a customer-centric and business savvy Strategic IP Director to join the CSD division, in our High-Level Synthesis and Verification Business Unit. The candidate will report to the GM to define and execute a competitive marketing strategy for our C/C++/System foundation and functional IP products by understanding customer roadmaps and industry requirements.A valued candidate would be someone with a strategic mindset and a passion for transformation. The candidate is expected to have experience in managing external customers, understanding of the IP ecosystem, program management methodology/process practice, sound technical understanding of SOC design flows/methodologies, IC manufacturing process and process technologies. Must have a strong background and proven track record in driving initiatives and results by effectively managing resources and complex programs. Prior success with customer management is required. Must be an agile learner, able to establish and view things from a global perspective to effectively drive results.In this role, you will work with our internal IP development team to ensure we deliver to our customer s and partner s requirement to meet their roadmap/SoC goals and identify opportunities to include our IPs in their futures roadmap/SoCs; act as the focal point of contact and manage all external and internal communications to cross-functional teams spanning geographical and organizational boundaries; plans and directs schedules; identifies and escalates issues; drives problems to resolution; identifies and manages risk.
Responsibilities:
Drive system-level foundation and functional IP/products roadmap and definition based on market research, competitive analysis, market segmentation, and SWOT analysis.Define and execute a competitive marketing strategy for system-level foundation and functional IP products by understanding customer roadmaps and industry requirements.Work with sales, engineering, program management, and application engineering to drive product success at various customers.Develop marketing requirements and work with engineering teams to define a product portfolio.Lead development of technical marketing and sales collateralAuthor and produce competitive sales tools in the form of presentations, briefs, white papers, and website content.Communicate and evangelize products at industry events, speaking opportunities, and on social media.Ability to develop or recognize creative solutions to opportunities and problems.Ability to synthesize unstructured data and present recommendations successfully to senior management.Embody a collaborative, supportive and inspirational leadership style to deliver results that exceed expectations.Expected to be comfortable in a matrixed, international, team-oriented environment with multiple stakeholders.Minimum
Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, from an accredited institution. 10
years of industry experience, including systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.Experience with contract negotiations protecting business unit interests.Experience organizing and communicating information, representing work to senior leadership, and framing discussions to gain valuable feedback.Analytical and problem-solving experience with customer issues, engineering problems and large-scale systems.Exceptional verbal/written communication, leadership, face-to-face, and team partnership work skills are required to succeed in this role.Demonstrate aptitude to quickly comprehend complex hardware and software solutions.Experience and understanding in one or more of the following markets is highly desired:
AI/ML, ISP - High bandwidth pixel pipes and computer vision, WiFi/5G/Optical MODEMs for high data rates, Image Processing, Video & Compression.Possess excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and WordProven ability to operate independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to executive management.Preferred
Experience:
M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experienceUnderstand the various interface protocols; demonstrate aptitude to quickly comprehend complex hardware and software solutions.Having ASIC design center and/or SoC design implementation management with customer interfacing experience.Having Field Application Engineering management experience supporting complex IPs with customer interfacing experience.This
position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration
Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S.

range for this position is $171,900 to $309,400 and this role is eligible to
earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the
successful candidate s work location as well as additional factors, including

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
