Summary:
Operate telephone switchboard & consoles to connect, hold, transfer and disconnect telephone calls.
Determine the number of inquires and provide general information.
Provide external /internal connections for staff/patients and answer internal queries directed to the switchboard.
Deals with problem situations in a professional manner.
May also be assigned other duties as required.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required.
Minimum six months recent experience working in a hospital environment as a PBS Operator or operator in a high volume call center preferred.
General clerical skills required.
Computer and keyboard skills mandatory.
Must have excellent telephone mannerism and etiquette.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
