Visiting Angels is a non-medical senior care organization specializing in companionship and personal care for seniors and special needs patients residing in their private residences or a facility.
We are looking for CARING and COMPASSIONATE individuals with or without experience in this field to become a part of our Visiting Angels family and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Companionship Light housekeeping Meal Preparation Medication reminders Errands Assistance to & from appointments Activities of Daily Living such as dressing, grooming, feeding, incontinence care, and transferring Specialized care such as Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Requirements to be a caregiver:
Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect.
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
If you drive, you must possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance.
Complete the State of California Department of Social Services Home Care Aide Registry requirements, DMV check, and drug screen.
A sense of humor and a desire to make a difference in the lives of the elderly and those in need of extra assistance.
