Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van or other commercial vehicle to transport passengers or goods - Follow a predetermined route or navigate to various locations as directed - Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times - Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing their belongings as needed - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle - Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record - Commercial driving experience preferred (e.
g.
, bus driving, delivery driver, paratransit) - Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and coworkers - Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes - Ability to lift heavy objects, if required - Excellent time management skills and ability to adhere to schedules - Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service Note:
