This is a key HR role that supports all RK campuses.
This is an administrative role with some specific duties in a niche area of HR, that may include data entry, database, training, benefits, recruiting and other generalist areas of Human Resources.
This position reports to the Director of HR, and specific duties will be delegated.
This is not an independent or exempt position and is hourly in pay.
This person is a supporting role for the HR Generalist and HR Director.
Local travel between all RK sites on a weekly basis is required.
This is a multi-site position.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
HR Support Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of your role Recruiting, sourcing, Hiring New Hire Onboarding and assisting in training New hire paperwork, filing, and other administrative duties HR Help desk support to help all RK employees in understanding policies and handbook, and help resolve day to day issues and resource help Support RK Training database and assist input ongoing data entry of skill and training updates Filing of Training paperwork to training file Filing of Employee personnel paperwork to RK HR employee files Filing and ongoing Audit of I9's and other HR processes to ensure legal compliance Assist in HR training to warehouse floor associates and employees Conduct new hire orientations and new hire documentation compliance Recruiting - assist department with all recruitment needs, handle first round HR interviews, follow-up calls and managing documentation for offer letters.
Work in conjunction with HR Team to provide fully rounded recruiting support to entire RK sites and organization.
Updating necessary Requisitions per Operation Manager's request Support of RK Benefit program:
explanation of benefits to employees, facilitating help with broker on resolution of open issues, help with health fairs and yearly open enrollment.
Provide assistance to employees on RK policies, procedures and handbook understanding Assist with All Hands meeting development and implementation Assist all in any RK crisis or other emergency situations, including support of Safety initiatives and training Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
Assist in special event planning, preparation and staffing HR Special projects Other duties as assigned Other duties as assigned, and additional responsibilities may be added, as required by business need.
Qualifications & Skills needed:
2 years minimum experience in Human Resources Excellent communication skills and expertise in business writing Ability to communicate to all levels of organization Ability to take complex material and break it down to teach others effectively on concepts and meanings Willingness to travel to multiple RK buildings and locations (Fremont and San Jose, Livermore) Able to meet deadlines Driver's license - current Understanding of cultural differences and methods to communicate effectively to all Conflict management experience Great concept of change management with proactive suggestions to help organization with change Adaptable, flexible, dependable, friendly, and approachable Takes initiative, proactive in duties and proposed solutions to existing problems Ability to handle stressful situations and still perform job at required high level Trustworthy with high sense of ethics and integrity Stays up to date on new California and Federal laws that effect compliance of organization to HR and general concerns of workplace.
Understands and follows RK Group's Mission Statement, Core Values and Quality Statement Warehouse.
Transportation and Logistics experience preferred RK Qualities Adherence to all RK Safety, Quality, ISO and HR policies and standards.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
