Must be interviewed by Christine Medina and Chris Decena The function of a receptionist is to provide support for the accounting department by handling all front desk duties.
As the first contact for many of our clients and customers, it is the responsibility of the receptionist to create a welcoming and professional first impression.
Key duties would include but are not limited to the list below:
Requirements:
Provides excellent internal and external customer service Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival Informs visitors by answering or referring inquires Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring the logbook, and issuing visitor badges Forwards phone calls and inquiries to appropriate departments Keeps a safe and clean reception area by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Files assigned paperwork/documents into appropriate locations in a timely manner Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations and guidelines.
Complete paperwork thoroughly and promptly.
Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean & safe work environment.
Assist other teams as needed.
Cross-train as needed to learn other accounting functions.
May perform a variety of tasks related to accounting.
Complete other duties as assigned Abilities:

Qualifications & Skills needed:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1- 2 years of receptionist experience Familiarity with phone systems/ Telephone Skills Professionalism Customer and Quality focused.
Great Verbal communication skills.
Strong math and writing skills Detail oriented.
Able to work independently.
High sense of accuracy.
Assertive, able to meet high volume and demand.
Basic Computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent time management.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
