Senior Purchasing Administrator, Vehicle Engineering - Firmware

The Role This role supports engineering and technician teams within the Firmware and Vehicle Engineering organizations with request-through-delivery parts coordination and procurement including quote generation, purchase order and material transfer processing, received order distribution, and tracking and maintaining lab consumables.
Responsibilities Coordinate direct-from-supplier vehicle part procurement for prototype engineering vehicles used in engineering lab and prototype build efforts.
Process and track purchase order and material transfers for Firmware and Vehicle Engineering Competitive quote multiple vendors for best price and shortest lead times for engineering Coordinate delivery and distribution of purchased parts to requestors when received Audit and assist with maintaining consumable lab inventory Work collaboratively with cross-organizational teams to ensure requests are properly filled out, correct materials are ordered, and part procurement is timely.
Daily status updates of Jira tickets used to track and broadcast status of in process orders.
Actively follow-up with requestors, and vendors along the way as any tickets become stale.
Requirements Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in purchasing, procurement, or similar administrative roles specifically in a technical/engineering/manufacturing environment.
Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
