Sr. Network Engineer (Onsite)
Work closely with Staff Network Engineers on design and initiatives Maintain current network solution within workplace, factories, and logistics warehouses Function as a Tier-2/3 escalation point Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on requirements gathering, analyze, and propose solution to networking needs Provision, implement, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution design Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of network services Document network knowledgebase and operational Run-Book Must be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidays Jira ticketing Minimum Requirements 6
years' experience mid-large global enterprise networking infrastructure Extensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, QOS, VLAN, ACL, application flow, NAC, and infrastructure cabling.
Extensive experience with multi-vendor firewall technologies including Palo Alto Networks and Juniper SRX Extensive experience with multi-vendor switching technologies including Juniper EX and QFX and Cisco Industrial Ethernet Experience with troubleshooting with circuit carriers Experience with various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, Solarwinds, IPAM, RADIUS, Netbrain, and Splunk, Wire Shark Experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics Desired Skills 1 opening in Fremont - 45500 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538 Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
