The System Engineer - Data Analysis and Modeling will be based in Fremont.
In this position, you will report to the Senior Systems Engineering Manager.
Here is a glimpse of what you will learn and doBecome and expert about the solar industry and Nextracker hardware and software productsSupport the tracker architecture design, including functional block diagrams, interface definitions and system-level requirement development to ensure design robustness, safety, and reliabilityProvide guidance and feedback to the Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware and Software teams and other company functions through the development cycle to bring new products from concept to marketRegularly communicate with the Product Management team to understand the product needs and translate them into engineering requirements and design solutionsManage system level requirements across the product lifecycleCreate and implement test plans to debug and validate designs to meet functional and performance goalsParticipate in system level design and process FMEAs to ensure design robustness, safety, and reliabilityGather, process, and analyze field data and factory test data to guide the investigation and resolution of service anomalies and improve future productsHere is some of what you will need (required)BS/MS in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent.
7-8 years' experience designing complex mechanical or electrical productsExperience with requirement management and product validation and verificationFamiliarity operating in a multi-disciplinary and multi-functional environmentHere are a few of our preferred experiencesSystem-level design and integration of electromechanical productsWriting product requirement specifications, verification plans and test plansFMEA, root cause analysis, investigation of service anomaliesFamiliarity with the full product lifecycle, from requirement definition to design, production, and field managementWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:
