Strategic Account Manager


Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Sales, Americas, the Strategic Account Manager (SAM) will be responsible for managing strategic partnerships with key customers in the Pharma, Biotech, and CRO customer segments.
The goal of these partnerships is to position our entire portfolio and scientific expertise as targeted applications-based solutions that drive sales in these key accounts.
The role will also involve identifying, developing, and managing key strategic business partnerships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

Responsible for identifying key pharma/Biotech/CRO accounts that align with Cytek's business objectives.
Responsible for identifying key partners to fill portfolio gaps.
Responsible for developing a Strategic Account Plan that identifies the solution offerings to be positioned to these key customers to drive growth.
Responsible for managing a cross-functional account team to execute the Strategic Account Plan.
Analyze and review sales and market data to support progress in market/revenue share within each account.
Act as the point of contact for documentation, technical, and scientific support.
Ensure information is effectively shared between the company and the key accounts, as well as within the various sites of the key accounts.
Represent the company at key conferences.
Coordinate training within the accounts.
The individual must be assertive, highly organized, computer literate, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work unsupervised.
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Passionate about technologies, with a keen interest in learning about life sciences and diagnostics.
REQUIREMENTS &
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this role:
BA/BS in Life Sciences, Biological areas, Engineering, Business, or a closely related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in flow cytometry.
Previous experience in Capital Equipment, Reagent, and Key Account Sales is preferred.
Understanding of research and clinical laboratory practices in the biological and medical sciences.
Must be self-motivated and demonstrate mastery of the complex sales process.
Computer proficiency is required, including skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
Ability to travel 50-75% of the time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
