The ideal candidate has prior experience working in the solar or construction industry, with a specific focus working with AHJs to obtain permits.
This role requires a thorough understanding of the permitting process and the ins and outs of working with AHJs.
We are looking for a knowledgeable individual who can hit the ground running and effectively submit permit applications in compliance with local requirements.
A core aspect of this position is ensuring a high volume of permit approvals, with knowledge of how to expertly work with AHJs making that possible What you'll be doing:
Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with local jurisdictions Maintain and update database of local jurisdictional requirements Conduct research and prepare documentation on new AHJs and their requirements as we expand into new territories Go to local permit offices in-person as needed Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions Provide excellent customer service for all stakeholders through emails and phone calls Maintain filing systems Other administrative duties as expected in an office setting About you:
Minimum 2 years experience working in permitting with AHJs Prior solar experience is a plus Bilingual - a plus Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Stellar organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently Understanding of clerical procedures and systems, such as recordkeeping and filing What we're offering:
