80 plus applicable per diem differential Summary of Duties:
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinician assumes responsibility for the medically prescribed exercise session of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, with the goal of restoring cardiovascular function and preventing disability following cardiac disease.
The Clinician assesses individual patient needs, sets goals, prescribe actions to meet those goals, while achieving maximum performance within the limits of his/her capabilities.
The individual will assess, implement, educate patients on diagnosis nutrition, medications, exercise equipment, and safety.
Write daily progress reports on cardiac rehab patients.
Educational Requirements:
Graduate of a School of Nursing with Bachelors degree.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current CA RN license.
AHA ACLS & AHA BLS certifications required.
Experience Requirements:
Must have Telemetry background and has worked in an acute care setting for two (2) years.
Preferred an individual who has worked with Epic and/or Versa Care System.
Experience individual who has worked in an acute cardiac hospital floor and can interpret/read heart rhythms/EKG.
Special Skills or Abilities:
Ability to work productively in a busy and complex environment.
Effective written and excellent communication skills in English.
Current knowledge and interest in total rehabilitation.
Experience in a Cardiac Rehabilitation exercise program preferred, and who has worked and cared for cardiac patients.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
